This Privacy Policy explains how the Alkamal Library app ("the App", "we") collects, uses, and protects your data when you use the App to order lectures, books, university supplies, and file-printing services. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Data you provide

• Full name, phone number, and academic specialty — to create and verify your account.
• Delivery address and location (with your permission) — to deliver orders and calculate zone-based delivery fees.
• Files you upload for printing (PDFs and images) — used solely to fulfill your print orders.
• Order details — the products and lectures you order and your order history.

Data collected automatically

• Device identifiers and push notification tokens — to send order status notifications.
• Usage data and crash reports — to improve app stability (via Firebase Crashlytics).

How We Use Your Data

• Creating your account and verifying your phone number (via our Telegram bot or a verification code).
• Fulfilling and delivering your orders and communicating with you about them.
• Printing the files you upload and delivering them to you.
• Sending notifications about your order status.
• Improving app performance and fixing crashes.

We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Sharing & Service Providers

Data is stored and processed by trusted service providers we use to operate the App:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, notifications, crash reporting) — per the Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Telegram — used only to deliver the account verification code via our official bot, per the Telegram Privacy Policy.

We may disclose data where required by law.

Data Retention & Deletion

• We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active.
• Uploaded print files are used only to fulfill the order and are deleted from storage within a reasonable period after completion.
• You may request deletion of your account and all your data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted encrypted over HTTPS/TLS and stored on secured Google Firebase servers. Access is limited to what is necessary to operate the service.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for university students and does not target children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
